On Thursday, January 24th, I’ll be speaking again at the San Francisco D-Store to share photos and stories from the 2012 MotoGP season. This event was a lot of fun last year, one of the best things for me being the opportunity to meet people I knew only from Twitter and Facebook who were kind enough to spend their evening with me and my images.
This time I’ll have pictures from the 2012 season to tell you about, as well as a few special items to show, such as two large prints from the Simoncelli Archive. Instead of the usual 50% of proceeds going to the Marco SImoncelli Foundation, for these two prints 100% will go. So guests will have the opportunity to get one of two 30×20″ prints of Marco as souvenirs of this special rider AND make a nice contribution to the foundation that honors his memory.
I’ll also have copies of the 2013 MotoMatters calendar for sale, and perhaps a couple of other surprises.
The great folks at the D-Store will provide snacks and drinks, and we’ll get started at 6pm sharp! So if you’re in town this Thursday, please stop by to hear some stories, see some pictures, and mingle with your fellow MotoGP and photography fans.
