This morning a friend on Twitter asked his fellow MotoGP fans how they’re spending the weeks between races. I happen still to be going through images from the last THREE races. I’ve got to refine my workflow, no doubt about that.

Of course, it doesn’t help to have other opportunities available, some of them more interesting than sitting at my desk for endless hours looking through thousands of racing photos. Just got back from too short a visit to the set of Kilo, and I’ll post some photos tonight. But in the mean time, back to the grind. Of course, it helps to find a photo like the one above. Shooting in the rain is worth the misery for the chance to see the riders’ faces–especially Valentino Rossi, who almost always wears such a dark visor one can only guess at his expression. For my part, I look forward to a time when I can get through a weekend’s race photos in days, rather than weeks…
