This is a 30×20″ Giclée canvas print, mounted on Styrene. The look in Cal’s eyes is intense as he flies around Valencia’s Turn 13 on Friday of 2012′s final round. Nearly horizontal drops of rain in the air are visible, as are drops of rain on the windscreen.

The price is $695, which includes shipping the the United States (CA residents must pay sales tax). Due to the size of this print, if shipped outside the U.S. it must go via Global Express Guaranteed (USPS via FedEx) for an additional $95.

Nicky Hayden

Rainbow Fire, Losail, Qatar, 2013
2013-MotoGP-01-Qatar-Friday-0006a

This is a photograph of the signed print. Please click on the image above to see it larger (but without the signature) at PHOTO.GP.

This is the third in a series of images of fuel burning in Ducati exhaust pipes. The first was Blue Fire at Losail in 2011, and the second was the same year at Laguna Seca. In 2012, some other photographers tried to get their own versions of this phenomenon at Jerez.

Nicky signed this print in Southern California in early 2013 and when I showed it to you, he whipped his phone out to get a shot of his own as he said, “Whoa, that’s pretty trick!” While the other two images show the fire as a bright blue, this one shows a remarkable rainbow of colors, from yellow to orange to purple to blue, and those colors are mirrored in the welding marks of the exhaust pipes beneath the engine. It is a remarkable image, if I say so myself. Now that Nicky is leaving Ducati at the end of the 2013 season, this one is truly unique.

This print is 24×16″, lustre paper mounted on mat board. The price is $395 plus shipping (and CA sales tax if sent to an address in California).

Jorge Lorenzo

World Champion, Redux, Phillip Island, Australia, 2012
_SJ10339

This is a photograph of the signed print. Please click on the image above to see it larger (but without the signature) at PHOTO.GP.

Jorge Lorenzo clinched his second premiere class championship at Phillip Island. As his team gathered below the podium, Jorge shared the moment with them after donning the Bridgestone World Champion cap.

Jorge signed this print in his hotel room near Laguna Seca in 2013. He was still recovering from re-injuring (at the Sachsenring) the collarbone he’d recently broken (at Assen). He was jet-laged from his last-minute decision to come to Laguna Seca and since arriving had been doing physical therapy non-stop as far as I could tell. Though he wanted only to rest, he signed prints patiently until all custom orders were complete, and even did a few extras for me, such as the print for sale here.

This is an 18×12″ lustre print, mounted on mat board. The price is $265 plus shipping (and sales tax if delivered to an address in California).

Final Call, Valencia, Spain, 2012
Valencia-signed smallA

Casey signed a few new prints for PHOTO.GP at Phillip Island, and here is the first to be released: to see this image LARGE (with watermark) just click on the image above.

Valencia 2012 was Casey’s final MotoGP race, and he finished in third place behind teammate Dani Pedrosa and wildcard Katsuyuki Nakasuga. The photo captures a rare instance of Casey wearing a clear visor while riding slick tires. His eyes are clearly visible and reveal his intense concentration.

The print itself is 24×16″ on lustre paper, mounted on mat board. As of this writing, this is the only signed copy of this image. Price is $725, shipping included, though CA resident must pay Sales Tax.

This print has been sold.

Stand Up, Assen, Netherlands, 2011
2011-MotoGP-07-Assen-Sat-sold

Signed by Casey at Laguna Seca in 2012, this is a unique print of an image never released or even included in the Assen 2011 gallery on the PHOTO.GP website. Similar to the centerfold image of the 2012 MotoMatters calendar, this one was snapped a split second before and includes a clean background without marshals, but Casey is still looking directly at me because I am standing on the track. Seeing that the marshals did their own little track invasion, I also hopped over the Armco to stand on the tarmac as he approached, hence the almost straight-on view of his stand-up wheelie.

This is a 16×24″ mounted lustre print, and one I’d intended to frame and add to my personal collection. If no one snaps it up shortly I will do so, and display it in my office with great pleasure. But as this is my business, rather than my hobby, I’m going to offer it for sale here to see if someone values it more than I do. Price is $1,195, shipping worldwide is free (though if shipped to a California address, buyer must pay sales tax).

This is Casey Not Crashing, Losail, Qatar, 2011
2011-MotoGP-00-Qatar_Test-Mon-0947

This is a photograph of the signed print. Please click on the image above to see it larger (but without the signature) at PHOTO.GP.

Here’s another favorite image with a story behind it, which you can read here. Of the many amazing things I’ve seen Casey do on a motorcycle, this instance is special for me because Casey’s first race away from Ducati was days away, and given that it was at the official test just before the 2011 season started, there were even fewer people at trackside than on a race evening. To me it felt like just the two of us there, and I don’t know if any other photographer got a shot of this amazing moment.

The print itself is also a bit unusual because it’s a square, 20×20″, mounted on metallic paper. The latter means that the Repsol colors under the unique lighting of Losail are even more intense. The price is $850, shipping included, though California residents must pay sales tax.
