Better late than never, July’s hi-res desktop wallpaper calendar from PHOTO.GP commemorates Valentino Rossi’s return to the top at Assen.
Yes, I thought it was the 46th race after his last victory, while Assen 2013 was the 46th race weekend after Sepang, 2010, it was the 45th race, due to Sepang 2011 being cancelled. Regardless of the number, Rossi’s return was remarkable and Assen was a great place to have it happen. I wish I’d been there! I had to cancel at the last minute, so the photo chosen for this month’s calendar is from CotA.
